Our Projects

Our Mission

During a stage of education when West African girls are most likely to be taken out of school, our programs educate these young girls about safe relationships, sexual health, entrepreneurial endeavors, and so much more to serve as preventive interventions to factors most prominent among girls withdrawing from school. With our program, these girls will excel not only in their secondary education, but within their time in university, apprenticeship, and beyond.

RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CENTRE

Our program features a licensed residential treatment centre staffed by a competent team of care workers.

LEARNING CENTRE RESOURCES

Students have unparalleled access to internet connection, research databases, and other resources to facilitate their academic growth.

MENTORSHIP NETWORK

Through regular communication, our carefully-selected mentors galvanize the girls to maximize their potential.

CUTTING-EDGE RESEARCH

Identifying the intersections between gender and education through thorough inquiry is essential to filling the gap in Nigerian education research.

GUEST SPEAKERS

An exceptional class of professionals, experts, and the like are all prepared to share years worth of wisdom with the students.

CURRICULUM COLLABORATION

A strong curriculum is at the core of our program. We've partnered with similar organizations to provide a holistic curriculum.

Our Program

RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CENTRE

The Residential Treatment Centre program caters to providing intensive help to young girls with emotional, educational and behavior difficulties. While receiving residential treatment, the Amina team is responsible for assessing the emotional, behavioral, medical, educational, and social needs, and support these needs safely.  Through the expertise of the residential staff the girls are given quality attention and engaged in impactful  fun and education focused activities.

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Female students have for far too long been underrepresented and undervalued in educational settings. The Amina Scholarship fund  is set to support and  empower these female students in West Africa. This fund allows us to  award grants on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis to female student to pay for their direct educational costs in partnership with our supporting academic institutions. It includes tuition, fees, course-related books, and other related educational expenses.

ACADEMIC SUPPLIES PACKAGE

Amina Foundation aims to support the easy inauguration of young girls into the academic institutions by providing them with  essential resources. Our program gives girls the opportunity to foster the great potential within them by supplying them with useful materials like Workbooks, Laptops, reading glasses, as well as feeding, new uniforms and shoes.
